Where is zukos mother

Ursa made the difficult choice to forget her children along with the rest of her former life and was gifted a new face and a new name: Noriko.

She and Noren lived in peace together for many years and had a daughter called Kiyi - Zuko and Azula's half-sister. After learning the truth from the Mother of Faces, he returns to the village and reveals to Ursa that he is her son. Ursa chooses to have her face and memories restored and she and Zuko are finally properly reunited. Azula, unfortunately, doesn't feel quite so warmly towards her mother. Having been driven mad at the end of Avatar: The Last Airbender , she believes that Ursa has been secretly plotting her downfall all her life and is responsible for everything bad that's ever happened to her.

Zuko manages to stop Azula from killing Ursa, and watches helplessly as his sister runs away. The Search ends with Ursa promising to tell Zuko everything about her life, starting from the very beginning. Later in the comics, Ursa returns to the Fire Nation Palace for the first time since she was banished and finally confronts Ozai again - now powerless and locked up in the dungeons. He proceeds to threaten to destroy everyone she loves, but Ursa sees him for what he really is: " a small, small man.

It also tells the tale of Zuko, an exiled prince of the Fire Nation who attempts to restore the honor of his nation by capturing Aang.

The series received widespread critical acclaim and won a multitude of awards over the years, including five Annie Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award. Zuko himself became one of the runaway stars of the series, the character who resonated the most with viewers of all ages. In the series beginning, it is revealed that Zuko was banished by his father, Fire Lord Ozai, after Zuko spoke out against plans that he had made in a war meeting. Lord Ozai challenged Zuko to a duel, but the young man refused, which led Lord Ozai to send him away from the Fire Nation for good — after burning his face.

No one but Ikem knows, for the longest time. Yet under his new identity as Noren, Ikem finds Ursa and reveals his true self to her. The Avatar comics in general are brilliantly done, but this is more than a well-written bridge to satisfy the curious.

Sibling rivalries and compassion come to the fore of the story, as well as distant parental figures. The only weak aspect of the comic is that Aang has nothing to do here.

The panel work and action scenes are depicted with marvelous fluidity. It has opened a fascinating new door to her character arc in the comics that continues to develop. Either way, you win! You must be logged in to post a comment.
