Quick and simple no issues whatsoever would defo recommend for a fast service and very reliable work a month ago. Lots of great value DVDs but there's often a queue and it can take quite a while to go down. Was told that disc would 4 months ago. Queueing may t 2 weeks ago. At the moment there is a lack of laptops that have 14 inch plus screens.

Hopefully they will have some in to look at before I buy. Online you will not find out the technical details. Had to queue outside due to Covid, which is fine. What is not fine, is having to listen to the pompous staff member controling the queue drone on and on about how terrible the company is, and how it is putting staff and customer lives at risk by opening, all for the sake of greed. He a short fat guy with a beard just wouldnt shut up, he went on incessantly, obviously loving the sound of his own opinions, giving his capitve audience a personal lecture.

Bloody awful, went in to replace or refund a faulty hard drive I was sold. Was told that disc would need to be tested and wiped completely understandable, only added for completeness and was told this would take 5 mins. After a further 5 or so minutes in the original till line I was then told by another member of staff that this was the wrong queue and I would have to stand in the sell here queue.

Very lovely staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. Nice clean, well organised store thats easy to navigate. Queue can be slow when buying but understandable as they need to find the games and products as well as it being a busy store. I like cex and the store has a lot to offer. When I was there there was only 1 person on the sales counter and 3 on the buying counter.

I was buying a camera and felt bad for the chap behind who had to wait 15 min while I completed my purchase. I asked the assistant to serve him first but was told he would have to wait.

Good store but they need to sort issues like this out. Just been in with a charger problem in my Samsung phone, the guy was really helpful and after 5 minutes of trial and error, found out I had a spare, so fixed the problem without needing to buy a new charger! Great customer service! I bought a phone before Christmas and it worked fine for a day and then important features like CALLS stopped working and the sound stopped working also so i took it back and the people that work there were very helpful in replacing it with a new one and the replacement iphone doesnt work either as it glitches and i can see it slowly dying on me after only having it for three months.

Reasonably cheap prices on most goods.. But expect a long long wait in the queue most of the time. Always loved the concept of CeX. Its totally useful for abandoned gadgets.

It helps though to go in with original phone and computer chargers. You will get more value for money. The better condition your hardware and software is, the more successful their outcome at CeX! Friendly and helpful staff plenty of stock but can get pretty busy so you have to choose your times Quick and simple no issues whatsoever would defo recommend for a fast service and very reliable work force.

Queueing may take too long, though Bit of a wait, there were lots of staff milling about, but none acknowledging the queue of customers.

So why the five star review? The staff member who helped me Ben Y at the Horsefair Bristol was fast efficient and knowledgeable. Give them a try. They just dont sell DVDs but buy them. They also buy game DVDs and mobile phones. They buy iPads but they buy all items cheap from you so that they can resale it at a profit.

Good shop though. A nice place with friendly staff, to answer any questions. Large variety of products available. Which you can either buy or sell to the shop. Good warranty on at the purchase I made in the store. First time in this store, stood in line for at least 25 minutes, the stores I have been to previously were by no means this slow.

So this doesnt just sound like a moan, how about separate queues? Then those who just want to pop in, grab a game or DVD can do so in a timely manor. Helpful, engaging and friendly staff. Great music playing in the shop. Fair prices for items taken in. I think im being a bit generous. They really dont check the quality of what they buy in and sell on. You could as easily find a well looked after box set, or one that looks like its been used as a football.

I dont know why they cant be more discerning really, since they charge the same regardless of quality. Buyer beware I guess. Quite good prices given for current games got 50 for 3 switch games but very low prices for dvds p each. Very bad quality of phone. They are selling phones which are not working.

If you try to get your money back it will be not possible and you need to choose between phones you are not interested in. I dont dont recommend you to buy anything from them. Its got some good pickings but the range has reduced due to a closed upper floor and service is not speedy - allow a good 15 minutes to pay. This is the place to go if you want the following:- to wait in a long queue to either buy or sell something- to wait ages for the games to actually be found- watch staff faff around behind the till chatting and doing anything but serve customers - this includes counting the till money up while pepping over at the queue occasionally.

Staff are always friendly, can be quite long waiting at times when selling but its not their fault just the nature of selling items to them. Loads of staff doing stuff behined the counter not enough people serving so long wait time. Not even told sorry for the wait or anything. Wont be using you guys again.

Excellent place, its enormous inside compared to some the other cex shops, over several floors. We went in to return a set of headphones, we were served very quickly and there was no problem with the return - and the guy serving us was very nice and he got for us 2 other pairs of headphones to look at, which we bought one - again very quick and efficient.

Awful customer service. Wanted to buy 2 box sets and a number of dvds. Ended up queuing for 20 minutes without getting to counter. Spoke to manager, who didnt care, and had a family jump the queue. Manager did not want to know. Very unimpressed. Will not come back. My local CEX Cwmbran is very efficient.

I wanted to look at the discs before purchasing i wasnt allowed to handle the discs myself to look at them properly. Shop assistant said these discs all needed cleaning and should not have been out on sale. What total waste of time I walk out. Nice bunch if people working here. Very busy on a Saturday. But they worked through the que as quickly as possible. All organizations All cities. Visit the website. Staff were nice. Easy to find and to navigate once inside.

CEX -where you feel your soul leave your body coz all the staff are so bloody miserable. A good place for a secondhand phone, dvd or computer game. Love this place. Friendly staff, helpful advice. Always something new to look at. I love cex. Its great for getting switch games on a budget. Found everything I wanted really easily.
